TYRE REPAIR
Repairing tyres can sometimes be a low-cost alternative replacing them. However, you must feel confident that your vehicle is safe and roadworthy too. When you book a ARJ MOTORS tyre repair, you can be rest assured that we’re covered by British Standard BSAU159. We always try to carry out a tyre repair before recommending a new one, but please bear in mind that a puncture repair isn’t always the best or safest solution so this may not always be possible.

If your wheels are not aligned correctly, it can affect the wear of the tyres, fuel economy and more importantly, how effective your car breaks. TYRE TIPS
Car enthusiasts understand the value of maintaining the condition of their tyres and the importance of choosing the right manufacturer. Regularly checking tyre pressure and not over‐inflating or under‐inflating the tyres are both important steps in maintaining the safety of your vehicle. Tyre tread is also important to keep an eye on, but it’s often overlooked. The deeper the tread depth, the more grip your tyres will have. Don’t let your tread depths wear down to the raised rubber strips at the bottom of the main tread grooves, as this indicates that there is only 1.6 mm of tread remaining. According to the law, tyres should have a minimum of 1.6 mm of tread across the centre three‐quarters of the tyre.
